WHERE STRATEGY MEETS STABILITY
Building a thriving community requires a coordinated effort between private innovation, public policy, and human-centered services. In This House serves as the strategic bridge that ensures these forces work together to create lasting impact. We currently have several projects in various stages of development that will generate nearly 1200 housing units in the areas where they are needed most.
The Hayden (Dallas, TX)
Completed
The Hayden is a 300-unit mixed-income community in East Dallas, developed by Ojala Partners in partnership with the City of Dallas through a Public Facility Corporation (PFC). In This House supported Ojala throughout the PFC approval and zoning process, helping to build the community and political support needed to bring this development to life in our own backyard. Named for a beloved member of our founding family, The Hayden is a deeply personal milestone in our mission to create high-quality affordable housing that belongs in the neighborhoods we call home.
Tobias Place
(Fort Worth, TX)
Completed
Tobias Place is a 291-unit, 100% affordable community in the heart of Fort Worth's Worth Heights neighborhood — a historically underserved community with a vibrant Hispanic culture and deep roots worth preserving. Developed by Dallas-based Ojala Partners with support from the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Rainwater Charitable Foundation, and Regions Bank, this tax-credit development is a model for what's possible when public and private partners come together proactively to keep housing affordable and help long-time residents stay in the neighborhoods they love in the face of gentrification. Named for beloved community leader Toby Tobias, the development is more than a place to live — In This House provides residents with rooted support including an onsite children's library and game center, a food and household goods pantry, adult education and job readiness programs, and scholarships for every resident child to attend a free afterschool program.
The Caroline
(Dallas, TX)
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The Caroline is a 340-unit mixed-income community currently under construction just west of Downtown Dallas, developed by Ojala Partners through a Public Facility Corporation (PFC) partnership with the City of Dallas. In This House supported Ojala through the PFC approval and zoning process, helping to bring high-quality affordable housing to one of Dallas's most dynamic and rapidly evolving corridors. Named for the daughter of one of Ojala’s team members, The Caroline is a reminder that the people behind this work are also deeply invested in its success.
The Ellis
(Lewisville, TX)
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The Ellis is a 257-unit mixed-income community currently under construction in Lewisville, Texas, featuring a distinctive blend of 30 cottages, 151 townhomes, and 76 apartments — developed by Ojala Partners through a Public Facility Corporation (PFC) partnership with the City of Lewisville. When The Ellis opens later this year, ITH will be on the ground providing support for residents—connecting families with the wraparound services, resources, and relationships they need to thrive. Named for a second member of our founding family, The Ellis is another chapter in a story rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a high-quality, affordable place to call home.
Beyond our completed sites, we have 3–4 additional projects in early-stage progress, continuing our commitment to expanding high-quality housing across North Texas.
